Construction Notification

Posted on July 29, 2016 at 5:24 PM

Please note the following addresses that will be impacted by construction work. The following issues will be experienced by each task:

Trenching - Service impact to customers will be minimal. Customers will notice work being done outside their houses in the utility easement and along the streets

Temp Cabling - Service impact will be minimal. We will be laying a temporary cable system on the ground. Once that is completed we will then wreck out the underground system and pull both the fiber and the temp system underground at which point the temp system above ground will be removed.

Testing and Temp - Service impact initially will be intermittent. We will be testing the underground cable to see if it is viable for our coring process. This testing will cause intermittent outages the first day or two. After, a temp system will be deployed in the areas where the process is viable, trenching will be done where it is not
